Is your hamster also receiving phone-calls for you and Dominus?  :woot:

:santa: <---- Dom's cat taking said note from the Boggster  :whistling:

I think that's the greatest irony of all though - we think it's not a distress call because of how its been used up until this point - weeee free vessels that can fly ANYWHERE I want!

The devs have already stated they don't want upgradeable or level-up stuff for the Warp-In of course.  :sweatdrop: Besides, how exactly do you "levelup" a distress call? If I cry more for help, do more ships come? ...or less  :shifty:

Ah, Raven, my old friend, do you know the Forum proverb that tells us humor is a dish that is best served cold? It is very cold on the Webzz!!

I think I'm inclined to agree that a cost for each Warp-In, as well as a cost for the loss of each Warp-In vessel is warranted. Starfleet Command punishes you for losing its ships, and berthing those ships in the first place takes resources!

Personally i am only in favor of a cost if you waste your warpin ships. But i wouldnt mind an increased build cost or requiring sf engineering to be built. Also it would be interesting if you had to have a ship in the area for the distress call to work.

One minor side note i think i know why i cant beat anyone anymore you guys are all cheating. Doms strategy comes from his cat, boggz comes from his hamster. I know what im going to do im going to get my 2 cats in the room and play plus ill send my dog after the hamster and cat (unless you are on my team) :hungry: Maybe ill finally win one (of course that would mean id have to play online again)

My hamster is a trained Ninja :shuriken: and would eat your Cats/Dog alive :hungry:.

  Just a warning.

I still like my 'chance-of-nerf' warp-in concept, like a Centaur or Constellation that's been falling apart nearby. (To be extra-fiendish, already buildable ships like a Saber or Monsoon)  Why does every ship that answers a distress call have to be a big-bad-brawler?  Let some poor bastard try (and fail, hard) to relive his glory days.  That'll make for some awesome screen-shots, at least.

lol well my dog thinks hes a man-eater all my friends call him cujo lol and im not just talking big because its the internet im being serious. My dog would have broken that thing that the hamster is in because hes a bull in a china shop lol.

On topic that idea that some ships might be warped in damaged is interesting. For instance the ship could be damaged when it goes to warp and it would require repair.

- AI controlled -

you click warpin,  warpin randomly spawn on map, and go into search and destroy mode with 3 ships grouped next to each other so that the 3 ships won't go their own seperate ways.   :woot:

and when one ranks up to 'Rank 2' - you can control it and add it to your fleet :>

and 'Officer Rank 1' - it longer uses warp in slot (like now) , and so on
