I thought this was about the game's AI, not about TVs or the infamous Borg Cone.

it was, but the original argument was pointless...
Oh, and I realized that "Freeze on!" makes no sense, so I concede to the popular consensus that the general term is Flaim not Freeze.

Adm. Zaxxon wrote:There is also difference is COST, LIFETIME, and BRIGHTNESS, oh and, PIXEL quality/size, and the biggest point of all(pun not intended) the overall size of the TV
I'm not talking from a mechanical point of view, I'm talking from a consumer Point of view, where there is a big difference. But I guess all of us stupid consumers just don't know what we are talk'en about.
I will tackle this one part at a time. First off, difference in cost; LED's cost more, they're still LCD televisions. Second, liftime; the average CCFL backlight is rated for 60,000 user hours....or about 6-7 years of good regular use. LED's are rated for 80,000 hours....depending on the quality of the LED. Which in turn raise the cost of the unit. Third, brightness; brightness is a controlled setting. LED's have the potential to burn brighter, but are typically burning at the same intensity in the same modes as a CCFL. The reason for this, so you don't burn out your LED's and they last as long as they're rated for. Fourth and final, pixel size/quality has nothing to do with the lighting source of the television.....at all.
....oh....and FIFTH....choco tacos rule. Too bad they did away w/ cookies and cream choco tacos. I became very sad when Taco Bell decided to stop selling them.

I ain't gonna argue anymore, about that. not because I think one of us is more right than the other, but because I grow tired of, again pointless and off topic arguments. I really want to some a couple of things, but because we are REALLY off topic, I won't let this debate continue.

I know, it was horrible!!

I'll agree that one of us is more right than the other. I'm just wondering which one of us has assembled televisions, produced parts for them, and sold them for a living for over 9 years?

Seriously mate. You can't let this go can you?
If you knew me personally, you would know I would debate that a VW is better than a Ferrari with a Car salesman who doubled as a mechanic for a Ferrari dealer
I'll even admit that I could be completely wrong, but from my experance, which no one can say is better or worse than their own, I have thereby based my opinion.

I apologize if I came off as confrontational or insulting. It was not my intention. As for my efforts to inform you, its only because it is my profession. If I didn't do it for a living, I probably wouldn't care. And I don't mind a friendly argument

*EDIT* Not that I would want to rub you the "right" way.... lol
