Adm., I'm not trying to insult. You are right, there is a difference between plasma, LCD, OLED panels. However, it is a common misconception that LED tv's and LCD tv's are different. The only difference is the lighting source. It doesn't affect the picture quality at all. Besides working in the industry and personal experience, if you use Google or just click http://gadgetwise.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/06/11/whats-an-led-tv/ you will see the information I have relayed is accurate.

There is also difference is COST, LIFETIME, and BRIGHTNESS, oh and, PIXEL quality/size, and the biggest point of all(pun not intended

) the overall size of the TV

I'm not talking from a mechanical point of view, I'm talking from a consumer Point of view, where there is a big difference. But I guess all of us stupid consumers just don't know what we are talk'en about.
