refitting a galaxy class ship seem a bit more believeable than refinning the Amassador a ship that the Galaxy replaced

Or alternativele a avatar-specific rhienn-stye Reft for the Galaxy (the refit will cost credits, of course)

Well I think this ship could be good.

The Dawnstar Class
It is a sort of ambassador that was made after the dominion war.
(ie: like putting sov textures on an ambassador)

If it is made to be a bit bigger than the sov it would suite the role well I think.

How 'bout we create a completely NEW dreadnaught and make the Galaxy-3 avatar specific so that it's there for those who want it, but you don't HAVE to use it?

beacuse that defeats the purpose, the thought behind the matter is that the Galaxy three does not fit fleet ops and does not belong anywhere

Thats YOUR thought on the matter, however you fail to consider the people who DO want it. If you don't like it, then you wouldn't have to use it. Just pick a diffrent avatar at the start of the game. Also, YOUR opinoin on the matter does not nessicaraly reflect that of the staff. Niether does mine.

Go to the Daystrom institute and look at it lol, BoP class or D-13, B'rel, K'vort, and the D'tai. I think the B'rel is also the D-12.

I am assuming that is a no to the dawnstar then, shame, I will have to fit it into Twilight then so it isn't homeless.

The style (as with the monsoon, canavral, exelcior 2, BortaS, Generix, etc) is to find good looking, original ships that look like thay'd belong in a post-dominion war galaxy.

And yes, Ive always been a fan of the Dawnstar and would love to see it in Twilight!

Hmm I think that perhaps full phaser has a point, the ship as it is in that picture does not fit with FO but every time they put a ship into FO it gets an FO overhaul so that the textures match the races textures and the models (in my opinion) seem to be quite rounded at the edges. So if they did this to the Galaxy-3 or even made they're own upgrade for the galaxy it would reall be awsome.

Although I have just thought up a problem with this, Why was the Sovereign smaller than the galaxy I ask, well the answer is because Galaxy classes cost too much and they are not required really when the cheaper Sovereign can do their job.

Well anyway I still think the descent needs replacing either by an FO version of the Galaxy-3 or by another ship, I dont mind aslong as its not the prommie because that just doesn't deserve to be in the advanced shipyard really considering its a heavy cruiser at most.

Yes, a FO overhaul for the ship would make it even better, which would be pretty dang awesome IMO.

To your second point, yes, the Galaxy is weak. That's why I suggested this upgrade for it!

To your third point, I've been conducting a search for possible candidates for the Federation Dreadnaught, and so far I've found ten possible choises, some more promising than others.
