would it be possible to get a facelift for the federation and borg ships. i have seen very good texture pack out there that reflect the origional ship classes more realisticly.

i had posted in a nuther tread i whood like to see more sercits on borg vesals.

i think the to things the fo teem is best at is texters and programing.

the problom as i see it is not the textering abulatys. the problom is more that thay are trying to hard to redesin evry thing.

i find some times when i work at some thing for a long peredof time i loos perseptive a bit.

but over all thare work is incredabul.

i tried myself to facelift the borg and it didnt go to well, the vessels are pretty easy to do but the stations are very difficult. the animations throw everything off.

FO aren't using those Sheilds! (although they were a great improvment, and Draconis must have worked loads to get them) - whay to go Draconis! But they 'don't fit it with FO'

I think they were made by Elrond actually. Still Twilight is going to see if they fit in to our mod.

One word, actually two. Time and Money.

People lead busy lives and probably wouldn't have the time to complete such a large project. Money, ah money. Third-party developer sure could use that.

The problem is...the game-making companies with the money make games, sure, but their games lack the creativity done by modders and such. Modders on the other hand do exellent work, they just have lives to run and don't always have the time and/or money to complete their projects like the larger companies do.

so basically your saying this entire section of feature requests should be removed, because people have neither the time or the money to create such projects.

so its a waste of all these members time posting there incredible ideas and view on how to further this project to its final stage. the world is WAY to full of people with your pesimistic attiude. take a leaf out of honda's book. you might en-rich your life a tiny bit.

the reasons modders have to improve games of all types are simple. they have unlimited time to create and modify their ideas to exactly what they want.

the reasons games such as the origional armada 2 fall just short of what we consider a good game is again very simple, they dont have the time to meet their targets set by the people that get the game out on the shelves. thats what alot of game are required to patch again and again. these people do however get paid. to do their job.

to the development team i have to say you have done an incredible job bringing the game to its current stage without "time and money" and i thank you for your efforts.
