Don't forget learning German from Hogan's Heroes, and Wolfenstein 3D.  Met plenty of people who never learn any more than that.

I too. :)

Ich spreche deutsch sehr schleht, and write it even worst! ;)

EDIT:
mimesot wrote:*brrr* Spatial anorlamies ... what a phantastical rubbish.

What about more realistik things like the damaging effect of hot stars, the attractive effect of black hiles, the system-disturbing radiation of pulsars, moving komets, jets, protuberances, micro-meteoric showers,....and even more interesting nebulas (e.g. crew killing). Even a dust-field does damage proportional to speed.

I actually meant any (realistic or sci-fi) FO terrain enhancement would be appreciated, as long as it fits ST.

Now, someone should say Shooter are mindless and do not teach anything but to be lazy and to kill other people :P

*gg* Funnily enough, I am on more english speaking boards than german and all the way I see people speaking german or using german words... :D

I like Nemisis, especially the flyby shots of the ship during and jumping to Warp.

the ships and graphics, especially the scorpion fighter scenes, were amazing, but were subject to bad writing.

yup nemesis had good graphics.
However for some reason i find the norexan to be rahter too klingony.

the D'Dreidex has a better shape for sure.very sleek.

but yeah the script of nemesis was horrid. that was the cause of the movie's failure. :wheelchair:

The script writers drank a little much liquor when they decided to do that.

no one can actually clam to like the Borg and dislike voyager.

Everything we have today even in FO including the tactical tube comes from Voyager.

Borg in TNG were a race that used gravimetric shield draining torps, and a cutter beam that took  stuff out of a ship.
The idea of the Diamond is from voyager. the sphere was detailed in Voyager. In FO it was a ball that blew up with 4 quantums and itself fired torps. Reproduction was in maturation chambers and the true nature of the collective was not detailed at all.

It is only from voyager that we have the information with which we are able to flesh out the borg.

W/O voyager the borg are Shatner's asinine V'ger residue... ridiculous!

That may be why I prefer the regular cube to the tactical one, like the sphere and hate the diamond.

Thanks for explaining it to me. :)
