that's the freakin' point, specific race has specific arhitecture, and as so, specific ship designs, for ex. klingon ships are dark green and are covered with same textures, romulan sjips all resemble birds.

but this ship doesn't look like a fed ship, i understand it must be futuristic, but the shape is futuristic enough, i belive it should be textured to resemble fed ships, becuse, now it looks like something from a race i saw in Elite force 2.........

Feds don't put stuff that don't make sence on a ship, or a purpose, so what the hell are those things on the hull suposed to be?

don't get me wrong the ship is great, i just don't like the textures(the top's ok(around the bridge)

the thing is though, my knowlodge of battleships is not very good but i am damn sure we don't make battleships now a days that look like they did 500 years ago, i think the only thing the same is the flag? the ships will look different 500 years in the future.

no, basic designs don't change, klingon ships in Enterprise are basicly the same, enterprise in TOS is basicly made by the same principals. This is becuse the essence of the federation won't change, so once again fed's don't do "cosmetic" work on starships(like thise purple thingies)

@Hypercube, ship designs do change espicaly 500 years difference, as i said a battleship today looks nothing like a battleship 500 years ago, the only thing that we would build the same is the flag.

always nice to try something new. if you don't fine but don't discourage him from making it. sounds to me like a nice original idea. mod could be a winner

@hypercube you saw the relativity from voyager right? well that was unlike any fed ship i had ever seen. ok so it was a time travelling ship, but still a ship from the future
