No it was built in a romulan shipyard

No it was not. It was built on or in orbit of Remus after the rebels took control over the planet.

Tell me, how could Remans get to a Romulan shipyard, build a unique new Reman warbird that incorporates the same weapon that would eventually kill the whole Romulan senate, without the Romulan military neither noticing it, nor doing something against it?

I simply don't believe this to be possible until you give proof of the opposite.

All sources I could find say the Scimitar was a Reman warbird, built by Reman rebels before they took over the empire.

For example, follow the link to ex-astris-scientia I already posted and read. I never found a website with information that was better researched and discussed before it was posted.

And don't tell me anything about Activision ST games... Shotguns in EF2, huge Defiants in A2. Uh.

Christ, you REALLY dont want a Scimtar as a buildable warbird in this game do you? If it's that important to you then fine, we can have the other one. Just have to have the last word I see.

It has nothing to do with that.

I would have no problems with a Reman avatar for example who would bring the plans to build Scimitar like warbirds with him.

Or a special 'Reman research center'.

As long the Reman warbird would not be a standard ship of the Romulan Navy.

I agree and i don't think lt.cmr.white is trying to get the last word he is just trying to stop a pointless arugment where he has proven that he is right and has said that he does not mind it being there as long as it has nothing to do with the romulan navy.

Taking sides are we. Seems to me that if you wernt included in the original argument then you should'nt be included in it at all...

the scemitar was no romulan vessel. it was a reman warbird ("predator"). Of course romulan and reman building style is similar, but these was a vessel constructed by the remans after they took over the core of the romulan empire - the senate. (i never saw a romulan logo on the scemitar. do you have some pictures of it? at least the scemitar had reman computer graphics and no romulan ones).

The Tavara won't be replaced. The Tavara is an essential part of the Fleet Operations universe and storyline.

But of course i could think of the Remans as a non playable race or mercenaries..

your having ago at lt.cmr.white for his "views" funney though that optec has had the same "views" about who the ship was built by and second just because i have not spoke out in the arugment does not mean that i have not been flowwing it and thrid just because i agree with some one does not mean that i am takeing sides.

I see them, but they loaded very slow.

Perhaps you could scale at least the second one down a bit?
