This is a basic weapons request, i'm wondering if your going to change the phasers and torpedos to make them look more like the ones off of nemisis. The phasers on nemisis fired a 1 second burst and then stopped but the phasers that have been on all armada games fires for about 3-5 seconds, a little longer then cannon. The torpedos have been 1 by 1 for as long as your enemy is still breathing. The ones off of nemisis were for the most part 3 torpedo bursts for the federation. The romulans however dont have a phaser in the entire movie but they seem to in every game. I'm wondering if you guys can take those out for the romulans and turn them into the greenish yellow plasma balls we all like to hurl at our enemys. I know none of these changes really came from a source other then a movie but if it can kill a romulan scimitar then I think its good enough for this game.

Strange... today I had the same thought about Klingon phasers.
I think I never saw Romulan or Klingon ships fire beam weapons... they always had pulsing disruptor fire.
So I totally agree on that.
Concerning torpedos: I personally love the First Contact torpedoss, but hated the Nemesis ones. The Nemesis torpedoes reminded me of those missiles they fire in Enterprise.
About burst fire: Could be a good idea depending on the ship. At the moment, the Sovereign fires triple bursts of quantum torpedoes, again an idea that seems to be inspired by First Contact.
I think if the most modern ships could fire those bursts then, that would be nice. But leave the torpedo design like in FC please!
Discovery demo video... kind of firing quantum and photon torpedo bursts, but very slow
Firing phasers: The shot length depends on the power output per time. You can read about it in the Technical Manual to the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D, a really good book concerning all ST tech, because it's written by Rick Sternbach and Michael Okuda themselves.
So I think you can explain the phaser firing time in Nemesis with higher energy output. We have seen phasers firing for a much longer time in DS9 and TNG, I think.

i know its posible to fire a burst when first firing but than its sort of like one by one, but thats per weapon multiple launchers at the same hard point could do the trick even if the others are just for astetics. By making some fake phasers/torp launchers fire blanks can make it look more canon but keep balencing or canon calculations.

yep, quantum torpedos do always fire a burst at the first attack run and then fire in normal single shots. this is based on the technical manual.
The Length of normal phaser or disruptor weapons is 1.1 seconds in Fleet Operations.
The Romulans and the Klingons have Disruptor Beams, cause you see them in the series. The Valodre in the movie seems to be equipped with Pule Disruptors. (if i could remind you of the 2 Klingon vessels in VOY:Endgame for example..)
I thought we did our best in creating interesting, Trek-like weapons but i will check it again

never noticed that but if weapons where made to look as canon as posible like as far up as weve seen, like all ships weapons that where seen in nemesis should look like that but say we saw a weapon on that ship in another series and that waws the last time we say it than that will be the one used, like keep all ships weapons updated and made to look liuke the ones they are...
ie. soverign having the ones from nemissis and the galaxy having the redish ones from tng...

Well we could do that but then every ship would have its own weapons, it would'nt look right for one plus I dont think these guys want to make special weapons for every ship.

alot of ships from the same erra would have the same types of weapons, and it would look right.

Yeah except all ships would get a refit from time to time to update weapons, the hull, everything.

yep, the ships from the ships from the sme are hav the same weapons
The Galaxy is an relativly old vessel and uses photon torpedos
same to the Intrepid, aus you can see in Voyager
the moern Sovereign Class uses Quantum Torpedos, same to the Excelsior-II Class
Starflet cannot equipp all its vesels with quantum torpedos, cause they are far more expensive to produce then photon torpedos
