Hey, how bout replacing the largest warbird with a scimitar, it's a romulan ship that was only piloted by remans in the movie. If you look under the starboard wing, theres a made in romulus sticker=) Give it all the special abilitys the warbird its replacing has or make it fire weapons at half the usual rate while cloaked. Seems fun to me.

No Reman Warbird as a standard Romulan Ship, please! :D

But I think it would indeed make a good mercenary ship! ;)

But it is a standard romulan ship.

the scemitar was no romulan vessel. it was a reman warbird ("predator"). Of course romulan and reman building style is similar, but these was a vessel constructed by the remans after they took over the core of the romulan empire - the senate. (i never saw a romulan logo on the scemitar. do you have some pictures of it? at least the scemitar had reman computer graphics and no romulan ones).

The Tavara won't be replaced. The Tavara is an essential part of the Fleet Operations universe and storyline.

But of course i could think of the Remans as a non playable race or mercenaries..

In all the games with the scimitar, they say the scimitar was a new class of warbirds made by the romulans and the remans stole the prototype.

Games are not always canon. Movies and series are (except Enterprise... somehow... eh, nevermind ;)). :D

It's true alot of games can be uncannon but I would'nt get information from a game where a defiant class is more powerful then a sovern, where the feringi have taken over the alpha quadrant or one where the klingons become technologically superior to the federation.

You wouldn't... who would?

I simply don't get your point. But let me explain why:

I guess, you wanted to say:

"In all games with the Scimitar, the games said, the Scimitar was a standard Romulan design."

I said: "Games are not always canon, series and movies are."

You said, the games you played were mostly believable and so you thought, the info about the Scimitar was right.

Now, what I wanted to say is, a game does not "make" things canon, that is done by official sources (e.g. series, movies etc.).

If there is a official source that says something else than a game, what shall we believe? I stick to official sources. And as far as I know, ex astris scientia is only based on official sources as far as possible (if not, they state where they get their information from).

So if they say, the Scimitar was designed by Reman rebels and was the only one of that class ever built or something like, then I believe it, no matter what a video game says.

I mean, if games were that canon and if Viacom would only give their Ok if they were, then A2 would never have been released... Remember those huuuuge Defiants... ok, they are still 3 times bigger than normal in FO. But that's another thing. ;)

That's all. Dismissed... hm, drop that last word. :D

The technology on the scimitar is almost purly romulan, the romulans built it, what more do you want?

The Romulans did not build it, the Reman rebels built it. The Romulans did not even know it existed until Shinzon killed the senators and took over the empire.

It was build only for one purpose: To give Shinzon the power he needed and to work as a platform for the talaron emitter.
