Optec, you peaked my curiousity again, so I have to ask some more questions :D

Will the major np-races have a generic way of playing, or will they each have a distinct type of gameplay(ex. Romulans are stealth studs, Klingons are more on the offensive, etc.)?

I think you have said this before, but will space monsters like Doomsday Machine, Gomtu and Crystaline Entity be in the category of normal np-races?

Sorry if it seems like I got off on another subject besides the post, but the first question actually has to do with my post. I was wondering what the ferengi would be like as a major np-race.

On second thought after watching DS9 for a few days, I don't think the Feringi would work out as a buildable race in this mod. They've never been involved in any armed conflict miliarily. Now the Son'a would have fit as another major buildable race :D

Depends on what you call armed conflict. They wouldn't get involved in something like the Dominion War, but they would have a skirmish with a major power or conflict with smaller race if there was profit involved. We saw small incidents like this in TNG.

But it is pretty pointless to argue for them as a buildable race now since I got my answer from Optec. But I'm satisfied that they will be a intergal part of this game instead of just a ship or two. :)

I was happy with them trading Tribbles to my trade stations in regular A2. What was funny is when you attacked them, they were almost invinsible.

well i think the major np races will have different ways of playing - as far as armada2 and the ai will let me do this ;-)

Please remember that this is totally seperate from what Optec and the team are doing!

Well in this addon the Ferengi are fully done except for deciding what special weapons to give them.I need to see what new changes are in Beta 3 so that I can get them to be fully compatible.

I'm working on the Gorn race now.I think they will be much better in my judgement.
I could also add the Breen as playable too.

i don't know about the trade ships but the ships that took the deralicts could be destoryed in a second by a star base.

Stock A2 Ferengi trade ships can be detroyed. And aswell as that, once youve destroyed one, they come less often (by 5 seconds each time)

They are killable, I just blew them up for fun. Shot them when they left trade station but never flew away and just sat there. I miss killing innocent yet ugly Feringi...

Now it seems like I saw some but I was either mistaken, not paying attention or turned off NPCs.

they don't say different things like war is good for profit they just sneak in and out.
