if we allow warp on one we will have to allow it on all of them

That makes no sense. It is like saying "If we allow a special to be used by one ship, all will be valid."

And read the rest, it is a suggestion and not the only one.

just got another idea...what about warp in without a module and adding this one you want. Costs supplies or anything else.

Maybe you can send it to a fleetyard to change the module...

Im not sure your geting the essence of warp-in, you wouldnt be able to pick the pod for the ship, because starfleet would have already fielded the vessels with a pod. Warp in is meant to be vessels in service in a different sector coming to your aid.

The two nebula designs that look the same is kinda redundant. How about this:

Sensor Variant - scanning ability and phasers
Warp Variant - Phasers and a boosted warp field that gives increased speed to itself and surrounding friendly units for a period of time.
Weapons Variant - Photon torpedoes, Phasers, Type three torpedo weapon.

The other variants have a lot of differences and even though they may have spots on the show as desk models, or otherwise I dont think they fit. Especially since there engineering section is much longer and 2 of them have the 2 extra nacelles but in different configurations.

hm, the other Nebula Variants could be a nice "once in a while" addition, but as far as i remember most of the Nebulas in service were of the "default type" we already have

the ones that we have seen, which were only like 4, i belive however it would ad a great elemt to the feds, as would as i have stated before some other upgrading and refit, to new and old ships, such as constelation class

Most were shown as the standard because the ones making the show were either lazy or had a budget. Not to mention, it was about Enterprise/DS9 so they never had many Starfleet ships shown, even in battles it was all about Defiant and they mainly reused old footage for non-combat scenes.

There could be even more varients than we've seen.

yeah, you could upgrade the sensor pod, and replace it with somthing else

Support sheild pod, maybye like the aegirian sheild enhancer,(and quick fleet ops question, any chance of aegian for fleet ops?)

Support weapon boost pod, suport sensor boost, life support, etc(for support)

repair pod, think how helpful that would be, a repair ship that can fight, and defend itself,

Marien pod, pod caries transport mariens

weapon pod, extra 10 offense, 3 defense, has two extra tropedo launchers

defense pod, maybye alblative armor, extra sheild generator(both apply to whol ship)

engine pod, extra nacells, get speed boost

sensor pod, increased sensors

mining pod? that would be cool

Aegean was pretty much replaced with the remore, which actually looks like a federation ship, rather than something voyager ran over in the delta quadrant, felt sorry for it and gave it a federation paint job.

100% agreed with the last post. And how complicated do we have to make ONE ship?
