I was surfing AII Files and found this, the Prometheus X3, a remake of Sherman2's Prometheus X. You can see it through this link:

By the look of things the Multi Vector Assult Mode is working fine on this model. So if someone could contact Sherman2 or Kais58 and ask them to spill the beans on how they made it work, MVAM could be possible in a future FO for a Prometheus (or maybe even other ships).

heh, that would be good (as long as they stuck with four necelles rather than Shermans five necelled version) - I think the 5 necelled version looks well ugly!

Yeah the 5th nacelle (dorsal) is very small on the real thing as seen in Voyager, the ship looks goofy with a full-sized 5th nacelle.

I suppose you could make the regular Prometheus, then refit it into the Prometheus X3, then i would say go for it.

and i think if you refit a ship is should happen in a fleetyard or some facility.

In the Voyager episode, there was only the one Prometheus, but if you consider that the Dominion war's horrors would be pressuring the Federation into getting more warships, its logical that they'd quickly put it into full production. However, due to the complexity of the systems aboard the class, they'd probably be only a few (i'd say 2 or 3 counting the origional). Therefore if the Prometheus did exist, it'd probably be a credit-costing ship.

If the Prometheus was put in FO, it would be the origional Prometheus class. I was thinking we could reverse engineer the special weapon (with permission from the creator of course) and then reproduce it for a new Prometheus model.

Oh, in that case no, according to canon, there's only the Prometheus with MVAM at the moment.

according to one of the mods i use to have, A2 blitz (or something).
the federation has the original Prometheus (with MVAM), and the Prometheus X (had heaver shielding, shield disrupter, and cloak, no MVAM) and you could refit it to the Prometheus X-3 class (more phasers, and extra quantum torpedo launchers, and a slipstream drive, on top of the other specials) the x-3 is for the 3 additional changes in the ships design (at least that's what i always thought)

i downloaded it & it to my astonishment it worked :woot: but there is a problem. when you seperate the galaxy & then reintergrate, it turns into the prometheus model :huh: :cry:

i still can't find what makes it work..... does anyone here have any idea (and in the mod i played the promethius X was a god ship (translate "no fun"))

have a look at the galaxy seperater closely. seeing as how it turns my seperated galaxy saucer & star drive sections into a prometheus, i'd say there is something in there.
