when i play rommies, i put a few cloaked ships in his base and just sabotage his free ships when he launches em. and i think that ticks off the computer because after that he sends his entire force after me. and i shoot em down with ease. i love ambushes, at least when i give em'.

too strong? i disagree however i rarely play romulans and when i have i've found it rather crap when it can only take out 1 ship per 25 special energy or something like that. correct me if i'm wrong, i probably am lol is it effective on buildings such as stations and shipyards?

erm, actually the sabotage station is invaluable to ANY rommie player, if used correctly you can seriously disrupt the enemies fleet movements. so yes i agree with the Baron, its too strong when you compare it to the other races special station.

You prolly havent played FO online then vs a romulan player. So lets see, 2 sabo stations each can destroy 4 vessles with FIRST try. So thats 8 ships right there and lets for fun say that you are borg and u have a nice fleet of 8 cubes and they all get wiped out in a matter of seconds. For me that is STRONG, TOO STRONG.
Now this if u had fusion cubes instead of normal ones ;) Andl just calculate how much time u spent building them and how much resources went to waste.

Over the course of one match, my two sabo stations had a combined kill count of something like 350... all of them Borg cubes.

Im not saying they should take the weapon out, just tune it a little. Like increasing the cost of sabo, increasing the credit cost of inteligence center, slower special energy recharge, not being able to destroy a ship in one go,....

on the subject of supplies they are a clever idea which works almost exactly like A1 officers. It gives the game balenced build rule (you won't be able to build 5000000 ships wihout building a load of starbases to support them.

As for credits they can work the same way. The only thing that puzzels me is how the FO team managed to make two different officer varients but they obveiously have a clever system.
