yeah those are exception because it is the defiant but thechnically, you lock a phaserarray on a target and the phaser goes with a direct line towrds the target so it shouldn miss, it is like a cruise missile missing

size of ship does not relate to ship strength. and yes we've all seen phasers miss, look no further than tuvok vs the aliens that stole davinci. he manual fired and missed like ****. not to mention he rapid fired, stupid how they always wait 5 minutes before firing again.

The D7 (Was not K'tinga) is rated the same as the constitution in TOS.
The K'tinga is rated the same class as the constitution refit.
And theres no way I'm going to accept that nasty dreadnought.
First off its from the TMP Era, and its not as powerful as a Vorcha nevermind a Negh'var.
Unless we massively refit it...which would be like giving the constituion class quantum torpedoes.
Its the Accuser Dreadnought.
Its on Klingon Academy.
Anyways, theres nothing wrong with the negh'var, look at its torpedo damage!
And the other Klingon ships are near the best of their class (excluding borg vessels)
And do massive damage in proportion to their costs.
The Negh'var also has a weapon overload.
And just because its weapons are short range doesn't mean its not powerful.
There is nothing wrong with that ship.
The Vorcha is only 486m long.
And has canonly near the firepower of a Galaxy class ship.
(But less shielding, armor ect)
And if you look in the game its 14 damage disruptor, is pretty neat.
The negh'var is 660-680m (Approximatly) long.
(Approx 400m beam).
The Sovereign class is 685m long.
Thus the same length or longer, compared to the Negh'var.
Also much more maneuverable. (240m beam)
The Negh'var had canonly 12 Disruptors on par with Federation class X Phaser Arrays. (Those present on the Galaxy Class ship).
The Sovereign had type XII Phaser Arrays (Vastly Superior).
The Negh'var as shown on DS9 also had MASSIVE underhul disruptor pods, which raped the station. But to include those might unbalance the game, because the gamme cannot account for the fact that they have a TINY arc, and could rarely hit anything that was moving.
The 642 m long, 480m beam Galaxy class, is about the same if not greater volumne, then the Negh'var yet is much less powerful.
The Warbird is a much larger vessel ...being twice the size of the Galaxy Class.
And is slightly more powerful, but not as powerful as a Negh'var.
The Klingons prefer more compact means to get their weaponry across.
To my knowledge they always of the major powers employed the smallest ships.
Their TNG Vorcha had the 3 times larger warbird, and 1 and a half times larger Galaxy to Contend with.
Their current Era Negh'var is the same size as a galaxy, shorter but beamier than a Sovereign, and much smaller then a Romulan Warbird.
They are fine, and their ship is well equipped, it just needs to get up close to do the most damage.

I don't think the Klingons are stupid
mind you I don't like them, but there is a lot of wisdom to their ways. If they were truly stupid they could not have fought wars with the Federation, Romulans, and Dominion and have survived. It has also been shown that they've encountered the Borg, and yet the Klingons persist. Further after all of this fighting they've kept themselves from being entirely ruthless by maintaining their system of honor. Had they not they would have been exterminated by this point. I just think they're intelligence is harder to get at than others in Star Trek that flaunt intellect in the form of technology.
This may be far off the canon spectrum,
but it makes sense to me that the Klingons having seen the newer, larger Fed and Rom designs would answer by making their MoQbara' Station mobile. The Klingons know that creating a new ship to counter the Norexan, Tavara, and Sovereign would be economically impossible to do. They must have gotten intelligence from the Feds on the Fusion Cube. I would say make the reach of MoQbara shorter, but make it able to move with the fleet. At this point in the tech tree they're facing an enemy that is dug in, and every ship has to count for a lot more. In my head they would just reuse the same technology as they always have, just adding another piece to catch the enemy off guard. It might take a long time for the station to reach its target, but attempting to interdict it would only drain your resources as it would be guarded by the entire Klingon task force. In this way the Klingons could cut a slow but direct line through the best of defenses.
Its an idea anyway

i know i'm going to get blitzed for this, but here it goes anyway.
have you guys played klingon academy, and or SFC vol I or II, the klingons had some of the largest ships I’ve ever seen, and they had a lot of em, even the super large ships that bankrupted the imperial treasury (there were like 4 I think). Now, do we see every single ship in service in all the episode of startrek combined? In TOS, TNG, DS9 or voyager? No we don’t. And this is even more true for the klingons, romulans and the borg. So, in retrospect, I can’t and won’t say that there aren’t bigger ships out there, because we just can’t be sure, or rather i can't be sure.
Feel free to fire away now.

I remember the ships they were really huge but i like the idea of the klingons how they are in FO its simple
Klingons = Fast manuverable battle groups
Feds = slow cumbersome groups
Roms = slow
klingons are really fast which helps them maybe the speed on the impulse for the klingons should be raised as they are probs the fastest

if you can't win with klingons don't ask for better ships. just admit that your style of combat strategy isn't suited for that race because all the ships that the klingons have is fine and i win all the time

Lol, how do we know there aren't bigger ships?
Because the Negh'var is the Pride of the KDF and currently the Flagship of the empire.
The other ships from SFC II - KA were retired, do you see any Yamato Class Battleships around? (Federation) (Albeit their modern equivalent...the ...whatever it is...the large 3 credit fed ship, I really hate that ship, thats the only FO ship I don't like). It is simply logical to make the most advanced starship the flagship. Every Race, had super large ships in SFC 1-2 and KA, Even the romulans, and the Tholians? and the...Gorn? Either way, just like the Cardassian Hutet in Dominion Wars, (Which I am neutral about), due to the current timeline, those retired TMP hulls mean nothing now, and as smaller often does mean better. The defiant tackled the Lakota! And...the Defiant is a beastly litte ship. I actually have an easier time winning as Klingons then as Borg =.=.

the ONLY reason the borg left them alone is because the klingons were"not worthy to be assimilated"

dont be silly the fought borg and klingons came out intact
klingons are the best race might not be the largest but in a one on one fight between any alpha quad race they would win
look at the alternate timeline in Yesterdays enterprise
the klingons are literally raping the feds
