Missing For The Klingons

can we have a civil conversation, without name calling. the only reason i would like a bigger klingon ship, is because it would be uncanon (and totally unklingon) not to have one, IMHO. and i don't play the klingons, i usually play feds or rommies, and i toy with the RTS_cfg file to make the medium computer harder, because the hard computer doesn't do anything. then why i'm i bothering with posting in this thread you might ask? because, as i've stated before, i'm a details freak. that's why.

well actually you'll know better from playing against them if that certain race is lacking something by the way it struggles against the other races on the same difficulty

. but yeah i agree that the klingons are missing a dreadnaught, which i think the negh'var is more than capable of filling if it is made stronger. (& yes i have played as the klingons lol)

i didn't mean to imply that i've never played them, i have, but i prefer the rommies or fed, so i don't really use them. if that makes any sence.

actually think i'll use the medium diff setting, cause it would be harder.

i have player 1 kling vs 1 romulan vs 1 fed (me) on, think it was called homes (or something like that), and on a few other ocasions, but i usually play fed or rommies (me) vs Borg + rommies vs klingon on a custom map. i call it "open spaces"

no just try the 2ai hard klingon without editing any files and see what happens

Okay.

The negh'var has a massively damaging torpedo and weapon overload, but building a mass of them is just as stupid as massing D'deridex Warbirds.

The Warbird is alot slower then the Negh'var and has a much less damaging torpedo.
Also lacking the Negh'vars Special Weapons.

The Negh'var is fairly nimble for a Dreadnought, and when properly used can rape a Warbird, or Galaxy one on one, and put up a good fight with a Sovereign or Norexan.

(Not to mention its price vs those two).
Its also quicker to produce.

If you have a fleet of A handful of vorchas, a negh'var or two, and as many sangs as humanly possible, you'd be a good contender.

Just like supporting Warbirds with Rhienn Classes (albeit those are super destroyers per sa, as they have near heavy cruiser firepower).

And you can get negh'var classes alot quicker then the enemy can mass their advanced dreadnoughts. And so when playing as Klingon you must stab switfly, as if you wait too long, the enemy will have you outgunned.

If you've noticed the Negh'var also has significantly less crew then a Warbird or Sovereign.

And to awnser the original author, what do you suggest we replace it with? The Voodieh from the Mirror Universe? The uber Neg'hvar form the Mirror Universe? The near 700m long BOP's from "The Defector" (TNG) or what?

throw in a large ammount of D7's and Kvorts and uve got great cannon fodder which can do dammage with the special weaps they have
