Ah, Los Angeles.  Where even sleeping on someone's couch can cost you $200 a month. :pinch:

Cover up precious AD-space by sleeping on a bench while covered in newspapers and we'll have to fine you.

Currently looking awesome in my head: A speacial whereby a Hazard Team is shuttled aboard the target ship, and the ship is take over from the inside. Considering Munroe's combat prowess, I'm pretty sure that's fair, although this would take a long time to accomplish. Perhaps it could be indicated by a crew-loss-over-time effect untill the ship becomes derelict, at which point it is replaced by one of the same state (under your control) with minimum crew.

Would be awesome as a top-level veterancy weapon, but I'm undecided on whether it would be more balanced to add it to a smaller, weaker ship or a larger one more likely to supposrt a Hazard Team.

"Ridiculous!" I hear you cry. "Unbalanced!" "Bloody fedrats!" (:P)
Well.... I don't care. Read the first six words again, or correct it for me :innocent:

I think that every time you try to board a ship, an fps minigame appears and you have to shoot so many crewman, and protect your Hazard team.  Or as the Borg you have to keep dying until you adapt to the frequency.  You then have to take over key areas like the bridge or engineering and that gives you victory.  If your ship has a hazard team, they get to have portable photon torpedo launchers to repel invaders.  I think this is a good idea!!!! :D

Portable Photon launchers? I'd have mine carrying ship-board Quantum launchers around... packs a slightly higher punch.

Pshaa, what's with the small arms anyway? Everybody knows portable subspace weaponry is far superior :D

You could always keep it in your transporter buffer, along with your helmet and assorted alien guns you've collected. :D

haha!

On another note, why does every one of these threads seem to get off topic so quickly... :D
I'm not complaining, just it's kinda funny

It's still on topic... kinda.

Hazard Team -> Hand weapons (fresh from the ship's hull). It's related...

Well, the Hazard team did have portable photon torpedo launchers, that's the best part!  And an arc welder that pretty much killed everything.  So it's still on topic. :D

and in the sequel many weapons did huge damage but munched your ammo fast. the x-rad was my favourite, aiming was pointless as it killed nearly anything on your screen, bit like the original BFG 9000., the staff weapon was the most fun as its secondary froze ur enemies, although each freeze attack lasted less time when repeated.

 that sounds ridiculous :P
