the last pics dont look bad at all.
I think the E2 could use a replacement, but thats just simple because i dont like the excel (1 and 2) design at all

That is my personal opinion as well, while I like the original Excelsior and the E2 isn't a bad design I just don't find the design fitting for the time period. I don't know perhaps I'm just fussy!
