I think a Constellation II like the Miranda II and the Excelsior II would be oodles of fun .  I really like the style of that ship.

Yeah I do too somehow i see it as a klingon mixed tech ship but thats just me.

I agree. With the original Constellation as warpin and Constellation II as a crossover between a light cruiser and a scout may be.

Perhaps it would be fine if you tell us why you do think of a klingon-mixed ship instead of romulan or Borg. Dominion is the exception here because of the Miranda-II, that's understandable to me x)

Well im just thinking that because in the old days kirk mostly fought klingons well sort of anyway thats why

the constellation was built at a similar time to the excel I, which was around the time praxis exploded and the klingons stopped being so aggressive

so there were probably few battles with the klingons and constellation class ships

Looking at it that way, an imaginary Constellation-II could as easy be a mixed unit between federation and cardassians then, because we know that the Stargazer was involved in the conflict between federation and Cardassia before the 2360's - which gametechnically would make that ship (Constellation-II) only available on maps with imaginary interactable cardassian stations, WHEN they eventually get into the game if you have it that way.

Personally I would put that ship in the federation techtree for one of the upcoming avatars, replacing either the Intrepid or the Monsoon for that particular avatar.

It could, but I don't think you get MT with minor races. I'd go with Romulan, they tried to steal the Prometheus, which is another 4-nacelled ship (usually).

the rommies love four nacelled ships

actually the prometheus had a fifth nacelle near the bridge i just dont think it used it when assembled.

i think we should try a 8 nacelled ship, just for fun. when it runs out of torps it could fire nacelles instead.

That's why I said usually 4 nacelled, nacelles 5 & 6 are normally off-line and tucked away.

o yh the sixth was under the saucer as well, i forgot about that one, the prommie had so many nacelles
