i can see what optecs on about, it does remind me of the constellation.

i do like the 3 refits. maybe the third one could be renamed constellation mk II? i would make it a bit bigger too.

The Difference from the Constellation to the Cheetah type is mainly the torpedo pod between the two dorsal nacelles.

But You might also notice that the Cheetah class has a shorter span between refits (according to canon) than the Constellation because of the need to refit it with better weapon systems (since its main purpose was frontline defense unlike the constellation which was made for exploration). Plus also Cheetah Class ships did not have civilian quarters unlike the constellation because they were replaced with arayments of additional combat systems that were otherwise on the Constellation left out.

Scientific facilities were replaced with additonal torpedo storage as well as additional medical bays for when the heat of battle takes heavier than normal casualties.

Actually I can't see much of a difference between Cheetah and Constellation. To me it appears the Cheetah class IS the Constellation class for people who didn't get the fact that this class actually has a name since it's first appearance.

Yeah I agree.  This "Cheetah" just is a Constellation with 2 evolutions.  Still cool though!  I always liked the Constellation and never get to use them in games  .


  I think that either the second two would make a very nice science vessel in Fleetops, though if I'm not mistaken the Remoore is a 4-nacelled ship (we just don't see the bottom two).

  Heh, well it has two smooshed-together nacelles on top ... are their two more on the bottom?

its a four nacelle ship, just like the constel, look at the profile view next to the galaxy, it clearly has bottom nacelles. unless it has 3 nacelles like that BoBW model

He was referring to the Remore there, which... unless it has some uber transformer capabilities... is still 2 nacelled

Well, don't forget that Boggz has a symbiotic relationship with his hamster;
He sees things double because of four eyes
And he has additional brain-capacities due to the hamsterbrain patched on his own when linked with the hamster

All someone has to do is look at teh Remoore in game from below.  Does it have nacelles on the bottom too or are there only the two on top?  The two on top are roughly in the formation of a normal 4-nacelle ship  .
