Hm, I think none of those ships are really original designs. They just look like slightly kitbashed or repainted units, that in very little way represent the supposed mixed-tech origins. Honestly, I think with those options I'd prefer the FO team to come up with their own designs (not that I didn't prefer that before)  .

That is all fine, but i created this topic to come up with ideas and possible models so i'm just trying to add my 2$ here.

The armor upgrade as a class 4 federation vessel would be interesting IMO.

batmobile armor is planned for the intrepids in a future patch, isn't it?

I think so. Possible as a mixed-tech thing if I were to believe the rumors.
