A Galaxy is about 9.4 unless desperate, and the Galor is slower than that...

Well they state about 9.6 i assume your pushing it to the limits. The Fereagi (sp) i think are about the same with the Galaxy Class.

Heres a good one this book is saying the orignal Enterprise could hit warp 8, come on. Thought the best she could do is warp 5, and iam talking about NCC-1701

Warp 8 on the TOS scale would be around Warp 4 on the TNG one.

If you look at Enterprise they state about warp 5, and thats a nx class star ship >:(QUESTION  WHAT DOES NCC STAND FOR)iHEARD IT STANDS FOR NATIONAL COMMAND CENTER? well ive heard of that one to, i guess will never know.

They probably used the TOS Scale for Enterprise.

Real world: NCC means nothing, its just the real-life NC prefix with an extra C added to look good.
Star Trek: Never covered, but possibly Naval Construction Contract or something like that.

Funny thing is the NX class looks like an akira but flipped around. My problem was is that the ENTERPRISE NXCLASS looked alot better than the tos ENTERPRISE. I know there was a huge difference in special effects but , it was hard to stomach that, it was the original.

That's considered one of the most noticable problems with ENT.

for enterprise they couldnt be expected to use crap special effects to keep with tos. they had to put in nice special effects, and we the fans have no choice. we can either get all pissy and stop watching it, or watch it and remember that its made several decades later than the original series, where mobile phones didnt exist. :innocent:

i liked enterprise, there were problems, but they were unavoidable. well some were avoidable like the how many shuttlepods does enterprise have problem, cos they destroyed so many. they didnt learn from voyager. :( :crybaby:
