The scale of ships in Star Treak seem to always be off. U.S.S. Cairo , a Excelcior Class should be a lot smaller than the Enterprise in the one episode where Captian Jellico takes command.

Ihave a book that shows all ships sizes ,the Cardassian is about the same size of the Excelsior Class. We all know the Enterprise is huge, the Ambassador at about 526 m is no slouch.

which cardy ship? the galor, i would agree that the galor is similar size and power to an original excel.

i wouldnt however trust any book claiming to know about trek, even the size guides for the special effects of the movies dont get accurate guides. ex astris scientia has many people with much time to look at ship sizes and even they cant find sense. thats because there is none, too many ship scaling mistakes were made and proper continuity cannot exist without "ignoring" canon sources. like everybody prefers to ignore threshold

Yes the original excelsior, well how much bigger is a upgraded Excelsior? and how much bigger is the Keldon class to the upgraded Excelsior?

Both Excelsior versions are the same size.

the upgraded excel dont get longer just a bit wider engineering section.

i mentioned original excel for the power comparison, not the size comparison

EDIT: Blast, tyler ninja-ed me. the upgrade excel i think had the wider impulse engines and additions to the sides of the deflector dish. like the enterprise b

How much faster is an upgraded Excelsior than a standard one. Do Cardassian ships have torpeadoes, and if yes are they aft of the ship

Canon-wise, they were never compared and the only ones we know about are the Enterprise-B and the Lakota.

they never compared them, although o'brien made a cryptic remark that engineers may have improved the engines of the lakota, and may have been saying that the engines could match the defiant, although we never found out if the engines had been improved or not

EDIT: blast, again tyler
EDIT2: @navyguy adding a second question in an edit makes it difficult to answer, add the question in a new post. and to answer i dont noe about cardassian torps. in TNG: Parallels cardassian ships had torps and hurt the enterprise.

O'brian said "thats a lot of firepower for a Excelsior class ship" So we assumed she was upgraded in her engines and firepower.

before they met the lakota he also said he hopes they havnt upgraded the engines

EDIT: they also added quantum torps, as admiral leyton said.

He also added that if they've done that much of an upgrade to the weapons, there's no telling what could've done to the Engines.

EDIT: Myles won this one...

I just wish they would have done a show on all ship classes and , as if you were in the classroom studying them. Have a book on the old, and the new, just a thought
