The bridge isn't the only theyleron componet, the wings, the bridge, the warp core, the back of the main hull, some of the enegine parts, some of the thruster parts, the cloak, the sheilding. It wouldn't be worth the time and effort, one could much more easily refit a tavara or norexan, then try and build a scimitar without the theyleron. And there are no foreign parts. There is no way they could get them.

Well it just isn't practical. If the scimitar gets in, then it should have the theyleron weapon, heck I wouldn't care if it had any other weapons at all. I don't look past flat out flaws in things.

How about this, why don't you have it and have it cost 10 credits, with the weapon but make it one time use and when it does you can't use cloak or any specials and maby the shields go offline and unable to be repaired, or how about this, get rid of the shields

Thats kinda unrealistic though, isnt it? Everything went offline for the Scimitar in the movie because Picard dosent love his ship as much as he wants everyone to think he does.

i think its really unrealistic.. it would be cool to get such a weapon, but not at this costs that everything turns offline

well.. i want that ship in the mod.. and i dont give a f*** how.. even if just the shipdesign for the tavara get a replacement through this with the scimitars ones(cause i dont like the tavaras design anyway) with a few weapon changes like mentioned in this thread, like more shots fired of the rapid disruptors and some torps firin as well (and and maybe more powerful, cause i think it just fired 4 or 5 times on the warbird to get it into a derelic_status_ in the movie ) ...

and i repeat it once more:
i want that ship in the mod.. and i dont give a f*** how

hey of course will the scimitar be in fleet operstions, i don't want to be killed by angry reman fans
but it won't be part of the romulans, but there are many secret features to unravel in the next versions

If it isnt buildable for the Rommies then it's almost useless, why have the ship if you can't get it after everything else is researched? It wouldn't make 1 BIT O' SENSE to buy it as a merc...
