Yeah it is. It's not like you can't take all that stuff out and replace it with weapons and make it a standard ship. I don't recall DITL saying anything about the Breen.

I'm trying to say this as simple as I can. The scimitar, itself, is a theyleron beam generator. The scimitar is one giant gun which was designed for that single lone purpose. And read the race description of the breen on DITL

I know it's one giant gun, but it's mostly ship. Something like 52 Disruptor banks and 27 Torpedo launchers, thats the kinda ship i'd like on my side.

*PS* I ment theres no info on the Breen on the Scimitar notes, not that theres none at all in the DITL site.

It's mostly gun, the wings are targetting arays, take out the theyleron parts, and u got 1 tenth what the ship looked like and is.

Actually that might be how it would have looked like without the weapon. Take the BoP for example, it has the same shape yet no weapon for mass killing...

Besides if it was a buildable ship maybe you can keep the weapon.

To get rid of the theyleron u'd have to
Redo the core
Tear off all of the wings, well mabey not some parts of the bottom one
rip out the bridge
tear out the cloak
Tear out much of the main hull
Tear off a large portion of the rear top hull

In the end it would nothing like the scimitar, it'd be a box with a bunch of danging things on it. I'd rather have the tavara than a boc with a bunch of dangling things hangin off the sides. U can't take the theyleron out of the scimitar without taking out the design of the ship. It is designed as a whole to act as the weapon. Not just a few interior parts

And none of that foreign tech crap was ever proven

lol your making too much of this. I don't care if it keeps the weapon or not if it doesnt the wings can be refitted to hold regular disruptors along with the rest of the ship.

The ship was designed with the sole purpose of being the theyleron generator, if not then the whole ship design is worthless. One might as well put dual reactors aboard a tavara and give it all those disruptors

you people make to much of this, dude, you could build the scimitar without the thelerion crap. just put a noraml cloak in, make the wings not fold out, on the bridge remove the thelareon parts and put in another console or something.

Dude, the scimitar has no real prupose without the theyleron, one could more easily add all that to a tavara

actually it dose its a super strong battleship refit the arms with disruptors ok normal cloak and the generator at the back of the bridge could be taken out easily

Basic fact is scimitar is a super ship and i love it so I WANT IT
