I think it originated from ASDB. Personally i'd like some of the designs to be a part of Fleet Operations.
Check for yourselves and mention which designs you'd like to see in FO.

I just lost half an hour reading through a couple of their publications. I really like the presentation and style, but they have chosen some butt-ugly designs to showcase alas!

I also really like that they've borrowed from the SFU (probably because of the link to the Starfleet Command series of games) for some of the designs and types of vessels.

Personally i like the Cantrell and Katana designs from the prototype document. Cheaper more combat oriented designs based upon the Intrepid.

Linked from the ASDB site: http://www.cygnus-x1.net/links/lcars/qu ... arship.php

I like the idea behind it, but the design is butt ugly. throw an Intrepid and Danube in a mixer and this is the result?

LOL...........The Discovery HAS to be put in Fleet Ops. Nothing will strike terror into the hearts of the enemies of the Federation more effectively than having trees on the back of your ship.

Maybe not as a combat vessel, but as a fleet support vessel. Supply generation. Put it at the end of tech tree, costly but when build it could generate supply.

I'd like that.

That wouldn't make sense for what supply represents.

The Cantell looks good, though, unless you want to give it my last name (Cantrell), i'd modify your post a little.

The Discovery and Katana look good too.

What's the difference between the Intrepid and the Jaguar?

I don't think there is a difference aside from some more advanced systems, it keeps being called an Intrepid Class.

Gotta admit that one was too easy.

Some designs are ecstatically challenging. Personally i don't like the TOS style designs or designs with sharp edges.

Still the idea behind some designs is pretty good.

The Eximus kinda looks like the child of a Saber and a Steamrunner in a Sovereign-costume...
