Resource Distribution Need fixing

Well, with an offense of 6 a defense of 5 and system of 2 (obviously depending on the fighter... Dominion ones have 5,4,3 I believe) they ain't gonna last long. To be fair, the Feds didn't use many standard military procedures throughout the show... so FO is left to extrapolate quite a bit.

Has anyone else noticed how everything in th Borg collective costs more dilitium than Tritanium? I get annoyed that after a while I get a large pile of 30,000 tritanium and only have enough dilithium to build small chassis vessels. I know in the Optimize section there is a resource generator. But I need something to balance it out. Could the collective connections have their tritanium requirement increased?  :hmmm: Or something that could balance the usage of Tritanium vs Dilithium? The assimilation matrix could cost 3000 Tritanium and be given more armor. I just personally need some thing to ballance the t's with the d's.

The tritanium and dilithium costs are balanced: you just aren't building the modules that require tritanium, such as Prime, Auto-Assim, Holding Beam...

I do, in fact I use those the most but I still end up with a ship where the tritanium is less than 40% the dilithium cost and all that extra tritanium piles up. I need something like a resource converter that could convert 250 Tritanium into 100 Dilithium or somehting like that.  :rolleyes:

Well, an Assim with all auto-assimilators costs close to 900 tri and 70 dil...  :whistling: . I always run out of tri with those, not dil. Thus I build a dilithium heavy Assim next.

Anywho, every race would like a resource converter: that's why you change what you mine, how many miners you have etc. Otherwise there would be no cap on what you could build other than speed of production.
