Ok. My opponent took out my fleet of 15 reins and 10 lahaevels. And to add to things, my minning too.  :crybaby:

Honestly if you lost all that to hyperspace artillery, then you kinda deserve it  If youd paid some attention to those vessels you would have had every opportunity to get them clear before they got hit.

Sorry if I came across harshly.

I never really use it, it is literaly it's own worst enemy.

  • It is painfully slow
  • It can rarely fire
  • It's weapon only fires from Artillary range, no longer
  • It literaly says I'm going to fire, move out of the way to the enemy...

Well you can move out of the way when you see it coming. Which is nor likly the case.

In really small maps, you can fire from the borders of you base into the enemy territory, and you cant counter it without running into the enemies turret line.

In all other cases the arty is fine.

I decloaked right on top of his bugs, destroyed them, and headed toward the hyperspace units. They were not fast enough even while originaly moving to get out of the way.

This game was only a little laggy too. For me that is. Imagine with a game of even more lag?

yea.. when i saw that my bugs can't survive i fired from two hyperspace artillery's right in front of my bugs while they were retreating...

in that time there was a lag maybe from all that explosions... + my turrets cause that u lost all ships

Well, I use it as an Anti-Turret vessel. I can have 8 bugs and some seige cruisers for escort and I'm good. Sometimes I pair it with fighter carriers so that I can used a cleared area for fighter spamming.

...the strength of the Hyperspace revealed :D

Actually, as dominus should know the hyperspace, plus that cool dominion freezey thing, = lots of destruction, especially with the plasma coil and sensor blackout, but then i lost my canaverals and norways,

the point is tho, the hyperspace has great power if used right, as in my example (which actually happend) you freeze tghe ship and then hyperspace, or catch the person off guard, and although the only think i would change is the warning it gives to the enemy, it can stil be useful

I'd keep that warning.

I'm perfectly content with the firepower of the Hyperspace: incidentally there seem to be equal amounts of threads complaining about the underpoweredness of it, as well as the overpoweredness

Well i am no fan of ridiculous, redundand discussion, but i really think there are occasions, where the hyperspace, which is normaly wellbalanced, delivers an overpowered advance. These occasions are rare though.

Aye Mimesot. Using it out in the open battlefield isn't usually too bad, but if you are in a narrow pass it can wreak havoc due to problems with pathfinding--not to mention using it behind impassible barriers  ^-^ .
