Dom Fighter too strong?

You feel like a battlecruiser is too weak or a race too strong? Go ahead and discuss it here :)

Thanks for the welcome and yes I am a girl lol.  Yes I was talking about those bug ships from DS9, in the show they were pretty weak on their own after Starfleet adapted to the shields to work with their poleron beams but in the game they seem pretty strong, my Defiant Class ships in the game, let along others have problems with them, I usually have to group a few ships together to be able to destroy the Fighters or Attack Destroyer or whatever you want to call them.

Here is the ship I was refering too Jem'Hadar fighter - Memory Alpha, the Star Trek Wiki

I think perhaps they are too strong is what i was saying, They should be easy to destroy but dangerous in large groups

Welcome to the forums! :)

Yep, like Tyler said, the game seeks to balance these ships first, although I think they're pretty close to where they were in the show.  Of course Star Trek is horribly inconsistent as far as the strength of their vessels is concerned.  I mean, let's face it.  It's no Babylon 5. :P  But I've always thought the FO team got it right, as they're about as strong as a B'rel.  As far as online play is concerned, you really do need a lot of bugs (that's what we call the fighters) to be effective, and they end up still being your backbone while everyone else has moved on to heavy cruisers.

Hopefully you'll create a wippien account and play online with us.  It's tons of fun and it'll be a good time to join with the patch coming out sometime soon.

We don't use Gamespy as most people couldn't connect.  For months we've been using Wippien.  While no where near perfect and there are a few who still can't join, it has been the best solution so far.  As to how to get on......:cat:  <-----Click me.
