In regards to streams of non-stop torps like in that screenshot... I think it's a bug that I've come across before. Occasionally a unit will just fire a stream of torps. I've seen it happen for the Mayson torp turrets, E2's, and Descents. Even in my mod I'll occasion have a ship fire a non stop stream of missiles even though it's only supposed to fire four at a time. I've also noticed it only seems to happen in multiplayer.

After playing a 1 v 1 (lagfree) and a 3v3 (bit lag) it is clear to see a difference.

I believe with increasing lags the scripts for that specific ship are somehow getting f***** up. In 1v1 games it seems still ugly in a spamming related point but it's way better.


My recommendation: Check the scripts increase the firing rate for that ship but improve theirfore the damage it does.. That will fix the issue and still let the ship being able to play with as a strategic Bomber.

i can confirm this bug. this problem may occur in high ping games.

Or in offline games with lots of stuff on the screen like I saw twice in the same game.

i personally think it shouldnt fire loads of little torps, i think it should fire smaller numbers of big torps. same dps, just spread out less.

I love the torp spam. Think of the ADAI tactical defense computer on the ship shooting a turd when it sees 50 torpedoes on screen suddenly, all heading this way. you can avoid 2 or 3, but 16-18?

I know its just a game and the ship don't really dodge torps, but the effect is cool.

Yeah. And if used as it should be, this vessel can discourage turtle-players a lot.

"That Dominion-player sets up Perimeters... we're being hailed."
- "On screen."
"I'm a fuckin' badass! Oh a Teutoburg? Oh... how do you decom that perim? Is it this button? Okay there it goes." *end transmission*

Takes time, but you can get rid of any turret or starbase if you can keep it in safe range.

You know what works pretty good is putting the big T at the rear of your fleet with several norways supporting and refilling special energy. As long as the fleet is there you can micro it out if it seems to be in trouble. I really enjoy using the The big T.

Here's what IMO you should use when you send a big T out:

A Norway if Mayson
2 intreps
and if possible, a primed SF command :thumbsup:

reminds a bit on a raven in eve ...a buddy had one that fired like that
