Ah! Now I get it. Even though I own the CD to the game, I no longer have it installed and just run off a no-CD version. I found this to just be easier, but the thing is, I never had to install the game to get fleet ops working. So your solution isn't helpful in the way you may have thought it was, but it totally was in another way. I'll install and see if that solves my problem. Thanks!

Update: Installed and tried changing the parameter as best I can understand from online guides, but still seems to fail. Maybe I need to reinstall fleet ops at this point too, but it just doesn't seem to be worth it. Hope you guys fix this in the next patch.

It's fixed in 3.1.5, but the problem is at least one of your custom maps. If you install 3.1.3 or go through all the maps one by one and see what crashes you can find it fast enough. You'll need to see what maps do not display in the map choosing screen as well.

Still, you guys are doing a great job!!! Looking forward to future mods as well. I hope, one day, we can create campaigns where we can edit the hole campaign! Even add cut scenes from a library and add our own sounds/voices too. That would be cool! Anyway, time will tell. Keep up the good work guys.

campaigns are possible definitely, megadroid is working on his mmm to make missions. time is the resource that is in short supply though, so it might be a while.
