Star Trek Armada 2 uninstall

So I had this game for a while but uninstalled it by just deleting the folder.
This was wrong since I cannot play the game, nor uninstall it. (It's still in the register)
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

You could delete the registry data manually. There are also some tools freely available in the web to delete those reg edits. Google offers quite some alternatives and hints on how to do that.

The Armada 2 registry key is:

Code: Select all

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Activision\Star Trek Armada II\

the keys related to the uninstaller are:

Code: Select all

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Star Trek Armada II

and for the 1.1 patch:

Code: Select all

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Star Trek - Armada II Patch

after deleting those, your system should be clean
