Play as Romulans. Intel Center will kill them.
As Borg, if the Probe still cloak detects (I haven't checked) build a ludicrous number of them and set them to search and destroy.
Dommies have that remote cloak detect thing.
Feds and Klingons? Eh, get those Construction ships going, and make sure there are no uncovered patches of map.
Barring the romulan intel center, hope and pray that there are no nebulae for them to hide out in, only to be found by pure, dumb luck.

a good idea, but if you are at the end of a game u cant change your race choice lol.

it doesnt any more. it only has intelligence report to ping them on the minimap. it never worked the way u described either. its cloak detect was a ping that had to be triggered, setting to search and destroy wouldnt help, you could just sit them all in your base and do the ping from afar. but now that ping from afar has been removed. em scube will disable advanced cloak.

yup, they can use any ship as a normal tachyon ping emitter. seriously clever idea

wont detect the romulan talon as that has an advanced cloak, nor the bortas or tavara with upgrade

are u suggesting building loads of sensor stations? that would take all day and cost a lot. and if you didnt build the net perfectly there would be patches where the enemy could hide. these stations only have tachyon ping and cant detect talon bortas or refitted tavara.

that does work a treat
but some people will annoyingly put their cloaked ship on patrol around a large area.
i dont really see it as a problem, if your opponent is down to one ship you have already won and they are just being childish.
