Creating a desktop icon for a mod

How can I create and define a new icon for a mod? I was trying to figure out where FO stores its desktop icon graphic but I was unable to find it...

To define a new icon for a mod:
1. Open up the mod's info.ini file and add this line:

Icon=modiconnamehere.ico

2. Add an .ico file of the same name to the mod's files.

As for creating them, they can be made as easily as any other Windows desktop icons. I know GIMP can be used to make them easily enough, although you'll want to ensure that the icon's default (if not only) resolution is 32x32, else Fleet Ops will end up displaying it strangely in some places.
