Do you know which ship type it was?  I've never been followed for using a shield breaking torp, so it could be something like the the B'rel of Vupta manual targeting locking on but not being able to fire because you never actually decloaked.

Or if it was the AI, then the AI cheats... it knows where you are and was wanting its revenge  :D

It was another player's KVort, but they didn't give the move order. It was on probably medium movement autonomy and reacted to the attack on the miner.

Yup, sadly the 'cloak follow bug' is another old A2 relic  :sweatdrop: . Doca's been working on fixing it for quite some time  ^-^

Also, here are two odd happenings related to miners.

1) This only happens with some races though its possible that all can do it. If a mining ship is currently the one that isn't minning from a moon or is sitting idle waiting for orders and an enemy ship gets close enough to it it will start "minning" the enemy ship of its resources though it doesn't actually have any effect on the ship even if five are doing it.

2) And just recently some of the minning ships after they have offloaded will exit out the entrance(not backwards) of the mining station instead of following the normal path. This happens randomly with all except Borg though it probably has happened when I wasn't looking.

Its the Helev Rhienns.

I noticed a bug with building stations: the hologram of the station will appear, and the construction ship moves towards the build site, but it never begins building. It seems like the constructor just sits there (kind of looks like it's vibrating back and forth or something). Seems to happen when the constructor is already close to where you want the station built.

Yeah it's not really a bug.  You just have to move your builder a little closer manually and build again :)

Well, it's not working the way it's supposed to, so I' say it is indeed a bug. It's really annoying to have the constructor come to an almost complete stop and slowly inch its way up to the building.

I was playing Borg recently and I was choosing cube modules. I didn't have enough resources to build it yet, so I tried to get out of the module menu, but the back button wasn't working. I had to wait until I had enough resources to build it before I could get out of the menu.

Don't have much more detail than that at the minute, but I can try and recreate it when I get back later tonight.

i find that if i click repeatedly on the map then the module selection menu finally disappears.

Repeatedly? I only have to do it once. Or just single-click select a ship or station.

Single-click usually works for me, too.

I find that if I fill up all the modules then the back button will work in that situation. Either that, or I just click on another unit as suggested by Tyler and 086gf :)

EDIT: I do recall very distinctly one time that I was able to somehow get more than one limited module type in the Cube construction menu.... I ended up being able to select 4 Regeneration Modules  . Couldn't ever replicate it again though, so I have no clue how it occurred.

4 regen modules wouldnt actually cause more regen though as there isnt an odf for 4 regen modules. i wonder what cube you would have ended up with.

imagine if it could magically make an odf and u got a cube with 40% more regen and the regen ability better than the sphere.

it would never ever die.

I was so excited I tried to replicate it asap, but couldn't - so I never actually hit the build button. Aye, I realize it was just a glitch in the UI - I bet that it would have caused a crash or just never have built if I had hit the build button
