butters and I found a new bug (I dont think anyone has mentioned it before), but Em scubes apparently don't work at all.  :blush:

Actually yes, there have been times where the EM Scubes are firing and yet ships cloak and disappear right next to them.  I don't think the game where I saw it was recorded but I have indeed seen it.
 
  I don't think it's an across-the-board bug, but perhaps limited to specific ships/situations.

He had 3 Em cubes, I had 2 rheinns, 2 leahvals, and 2 griffin. I decloaked, engaged, and recloaked 3 times...  :blush: So apparently it doesn't always work

It does have a failure rate - like all anti-cloaking technologies - if I remember correctly :)

Just tested again - works fine.  :thumbsup:

I dont know if this is a bug but in the last 5 games merciless fed ai seems to be weak compared to the other factions. When the other factions are pumping out end game ships the feds are still pumping out the small shipyard and when they do get a big shipyard up and running they dont start building their ships till its too late.

I had a Sus'a lose weapons against an Assimilation Matrix and when I tried to just cloak the other two Sus'a that were near it and damaged, to my surprise, all three cloaked (I did double click selection) and I could also declaok and recloak the Sus'a not selected with any other ships.

Quite possibly, tho I don't really remember. I think I did activate LDA and that's why I had to send those three Sus'a off to the side before cloaking them and sending them to repair.

I had another game yesterday in which another Sus'a had weapons disabled and it was unable to cloak, LDA was not even researched IIRC.

Does indeed seem to be an LDA-related issue.

IIRC it is a replaceweapon, and replaceweapons seem to have a habit of doing crazy things to subsystems.
