Undefeatable Strategies?

Okay, my question to everybody is if they have a strategy that keeps them undefeated. So far I only win 8 out of 10. But the strategy still works fine.

I just keep attacking construction ships and mining facilities slowly making them starve of a lack of resources. Then I take the moons for myself.

That's kinda the core of any strategy.

Doing that and defending your own at the same time, as well as co-ordinating expansion and micromanaging your units is what wins the game.

No body is undefeated, if they are saying they are that means that either: a) they havent played against the best players yet
b) they are lying


But what you described is the core of the strategy yep, keep doing that all game and try to properly counter enemy ships and you should win

the title is kind of a oxymoron however the only thing that keeps players winning is learing new strats and incorperating them into their current one.

Honestly, I have no idea how many games out of how many I win: I often do days of testing strategies that I have never used, just to see how they work and when to employ them... then I lose a lot

If we are going to do a Gamespy game, the question is... Do I need a gamespy User?

Also I'd like to play the only thing is that the game says that people have other versions... I have 3.06, but do I need the Multimedia pack as well?

P.S. I really, really, really, want to play multi! I always wanted to see if I'm 1337 or N00|3. If I can play...

I have a Problem, i have Gamespy arcade installed but in the game its still "greyd out"? DO we have a HAMACHI Group?

Gamespy in directly incorporated to FO, you don't need any seperate install. Just select Multiplayer > Gamespy, wait for a looooong time, then type in any username, no PW, no account e-mail, all unneccessary > just login > ready!

Make sure you have the latest patch installed. (3.0.7 OOS test patch, you find it in the "online"-forum, posted by DocaCola), make sure you are nit protected by any firewalls, or, if you are covered by a router do a port forwarding, or set youself to DMZ-Server. Then no probelms should occur.

There are actually plenty of Hamachi groups created, but most are full so you'll probably have to create a new one and ask people to join

Yeah, sorry I haven't been available that much lately. First it was finals, then it was going home to see the folks. However, now I'm going back to my apartment today, so other than full time work, I'll have plenty of time

Three questions that I need to be answered before I sign on tonight... and sub questions...

1] Why when I try to join games it says I have a different version?
a] Do I need a multimedia pack?
b] Do I need the 3.07 OOS test patch?

2] Do I need an accout?

3] Which game name am I looking for?
