For  A borg Player  playing against the AI  you may want to try  dumping a few assumulators at a moon pairs next to  the Oponent .  when I play against the Ai As borg  It helps me bleed off resourses from the Ai , Ie Constructors , miners , Mining stations . By adding those resourses  to my  pool of resourses freeing up RP's for  building  assimulators to dump  at other  moonpairs  to further starve the AI. As you  bleed off the opponent ships , repair them and use  them .

Okay.  Um, I was just playing as the Federation and I was able to defeat the Borg (with 2 allies).  I had the most powerful fleet and was able to destroy the Borg base without help from the allies.  Although I won, I ran out of supplies.  As the Borg, I've never run out of supplies.  What federation station handles supplies?

Oh, would pivoting the Federation against someone else besides me help my Borg fleet expand?

PS:  The allies just kept the Borg from expanding, I had to do the actual blow (as well as keeping the Borg from expanding).

one trick which is hard to pull off sometimes is to take out all your oponents bases. if they have no starbases left the ai will not build anything i believe. usually by the time you can kill their starbase u can get the rest. but if you can wait until their fleet goes somewhere else and use all of your ships to suicide run on their main base it could work.
