How do roms beat klingons?

Iv always found some early dis rhiens eat anything klingon then its really a matter of choice in backing them up with some genrix support or frigates. Thats for helev which is all i am.

To beat Klingons is fairly easy atm due to the lack of a good LR counter for Kling. If you are Mijural Shrikes work in some situations (e.g. Ktinga rush).

Yeah Kvorts are basically the counter to frigates actually as long as you have 2:1 odds.

@ Jetnova - That has absolutely no use here whatsoever ... 


  @ Ray - So when you say: "Roms can't beat Klings", do you mean "Roms can't beat Kvort spam"?  Yes they can.  If they couldn't, you would not have been the one to figure it out just now.  And yes, Frigates means Generix Frigate Refits .... you know, the ones that reduce damage from pulses by 50% (30% passive and 20% size) against Kvorts that do 16% (50% - 34%) LESS damage total?  Those ones .

  2 second cloak vs. 4 second cloak with weak subs.

According to Dom the Kvorts actually would win this one and I have proved it many times . I dont spam Kvorts from 2 yards. Just from 1 yard, while I double expand and build a yard in the center.

So against Kvorts, I think your best bet would have to be Rheinns with phase plates. I mean you wont be able to get enough Generexes before you are already on the losing side of the game... I even got the cloak repair bug at my forward yard for 10 minutes and still did fine.

Sure you could win with K'Vorts- it's not as certain as a would I'd say though . Frigates do fairly nicely against K'Vorts with little micromanagement, but the counter is weaker when compared to most  . Thus it usually depends more on who is micromanaging better in my opinion I'd say .

you know that works for all races

kill your enemy's mining so that you end up with more money. never a bad idea.
