One half has already abandoned the unprovoked 'debate', so this thread should be safe for now.

... So, back to the Command Cube in FleetOps.

Will the Command Cube have any unique modules that we haven't seen before?

It would be seriously cool if it had some sort of 'super adaptation' module that made it very resistant to certain types of weapons. There would be three different 'super adaptation' modules to choose from (ex. resistant against pulse, resistant against phasers, resistant against torpedoes, resistant against special weapons.)

I also really like the sphere idea that was brought up earlier in this thread.

The guide says the Command Cube will have the standard customization, but with unique modules. No information was given on what they will be and I don't think the page has been updated for a while.

The most powerful Borg vessel is the Command Cube. One of these vessels was once able to destroy 39 Federation starship in its attempt to assimilate Earth. The Command Cube is a very special adaptation to long range weaponry. It is equipped with a very powerful slicer beam, which is capable of breaking through all known armor and inflicting massive damage to the interior of a ship. Such a slicing beam can even cut whole parts of a starship off. The Command Cube will be returning to Fleet Operations very shortly, although it is still in the planning stages. It will be incredibly expensive (also requiring Collective Connections) and be very high in the Borg technology tree. It will also feature the same "module customization" as other Borg units, although the modules will be unique to the Command Cube. The developers want this vessel to be very customizable - if you want a vessel capable of assimilating battleships, or if you need a big shield-vessel ... it has no definite role.

I'd love for a small sphere to pop out once the cube is being destroyed, I can imagine though that it would cause a nervous breakdown with the developers. The animation/graphic behind it would be difficult I'm sure!

Not sure about the modules as such, not against torps at least considering they are about the main thing to be used against a cube. Otherwise the idea seems reasonable, certainly adding a special module for the cube would be good though I imagine something that would enhance the performance of the collective or assimilation.

There is such thing as a Borg Supercube.

This Supercube, seems to be the type of ship I'd personally consider to be a Borg Command Cube.

Star Trek Destiny Trilogy:

In Destiny over 100 Borg ships poured through a combined Federation, Klingon, Romulan, Cardassian Fleet and pulverized different planets within the Federation and the Klingon Empire, all on their campaign to destroy humanity and the Federation. The Borg had even adapted to the Transphasic Torpedo by the middle of book 2.

I'd like to be able to see the Borg act in this manner and even adapt to the one shot kill weapon that was designed to specially use against them.
