pyramids with regen and torp would do the trick.

fly in, snipe 1 turret at long range then regen.

u will have 1 module free, make it a holding module then make a 2 vinculum dodeca to recharge the energy of the pyramids.

Pyramids are medium range :) . I'd just recommend using your Trans Matrix abilities in combo there - remove those shields fast  ^-^

oops, confused it with assims.

medium range will still be sufficient as the pyramid can absorb the fire for long enough. definitely long enough if you use devestating attack. maybe bring a diamond in to boost fire and use nanites.

and if u are too cheap (or too opti) to make pyramids u can make 3 regen 1 torp spheres. they will do good too.

I suggest a fleet composed of Sovs, E2s, Descents, and Akira, backed by 2 Canaveral and 2 Remore.  Should beat the piss out of most Borg fleets, especially at the cube-building stage.  If mayson, some Norway can be used to boost power supplies so the sovs can shut down engines more often to prevent dancing.

Yep that would work great, but not against holding cubes :P
