Borg Counter Question

How would I counter this group of vessels or a group similer to this?

Little more info would be needed, Counter as what faction?.

Fed.
Dom.
Rom.
Klings.

But personally i would wait until they reach a base then use the starbase as a weapons platform with any ships close supporting, Take the diamond out first then the spheres leave the cube till last.

lol, countering all of it is difficult.

if you are feds, try intreps, they are good vs borg, and take reduced damage from cube and spheres

if u are klinks see if u can make luspets, they also take reduced damage from cube and spheres.

just make lots of ships with torp weapons.

of course, always target diamond first. always.

I never play as the Klingons, I rarely play as the Romulans, occasionally I'll play as the Dominion, but I mostly play as the Federation if I'm not playing as the Borg.  Speaking of which, how would the Borg counter those ships?

borg don't have an easy counter. stuff with graviton torps is always good.

How would someone counter a fleet of 1 tactical cube, 4 cubes, 3 adapters, 5 assimilators, and 2 diamonds?

Easy: Not letting your opponent build 5 Cubes.

most people dont build non tac cubes.

nearly all cubes are tac cubes.

for such late game diverse fleets there is no instant counter.

fleetops isnt a game of hard counters.

only spams are really easy to counter.

so bug spam is countered by supports.

for mixed fleets just make some mixed fleets of your own. and attack often.

The only counter to that fleet is not to let the borg build so many ships. Athough i have seen 4 cube go down before.

You could easily beat that fleet assuming you have built the right ships. For expample: E2s, sangs, susas, torpedo rheinns, bombers, or just a good combination of abilities and fleet mixing. The first mistake you probably will make is to target the cube first. Don't do that as you most likely waste a lot of firepower. Instead take off the smaller, weaker ships, or the diamond as it will be supporting all of the other borg ships. If you stay true to those tactics, you will most likely win depending on the number/kind of ships you have.
