Depends, if two of the others are double teaming the other guy, sometimes its best to just raid the two of them while you build up heavily, I did that once, was hilarious, I built like 12 construction ships for each guys expansion, raided their expansions while they were rading/raeping the 4th guy and were too distracted to bother with me, and by the time they came back....... there were 12 quantum turrets built in a tight cluster in the expansion, with more plus sensors being built, plus a light fleet to defend them.
And while they broke their fleets trying to re-take the expansions, I was collecting resources like mad, had un-defended expansions in the dead 4th guys turf, and built a MASSIVE fleet, and just rushed in accepting losses and wiped out their starbases, yards, and builders. By the time I hit k for search and destroy (followed by microing damaged ships to repair) they were smashed beyond repair.

No, its disabled in the SWFC mod :p .
