this isnt a necrod thread. its a new thread which is almost identical to an old thread.

necroing isnt always bad, posting in the other thread is ok as long as its on topic.

I wasnt trying to necro (i dont even know what that means lol) i had completely forgotten about that other thread, i just wanted to start a new thread, and i was curious, about what ships people would want, and if anybody would want to be borg, or dominion or somthing like that

also, yes i did the one word thread, cus i thought that was alot of fun, and we havent had a thread like that in a while

necroing a thread is posting in it long after its been dead and nobody is posting in it.

on a lot of forums they dont like necroing.

but here people arent so opposed to it if u are on topic.

If I had to pick a canon ship, I'd go with an Intrepid or Sovereign.

IAS Excalibur.   But since this is a thread about Star Trek ships, I would have to go with the Ambassador Class.  I've heard somewhere that modern Ambassadors are said to be on par with early Galaxy Class starships, and that sounds like a pretty good deal.

Yeah i agree the ambasador is a nice ship, but what do you mean by a "modern" ambasador?

Well guy's you know what ship i would command, hey mal ive heard that line before. I will put my AMBASSADOR CLASS against any dam ship out there!!!! Modern AMBASSADOR'S were upgraded to match or at least fight on the same field as a GALAXY CLASS.

Well I'm glad the lakota will live in the care of a new captain. I've always preferred the original as my command she might be aging but she's got years of fight left in her.

I had designed a new starship class but lost contact with the guy that was putting my ideas into a computer model (anyone here handy with that?)

There are a few I like.. but one??? ARG... probably Prometheus?!  I think it would be badass to see that ship come to live in its full capabilities in ops....    I do like cloaking things; but really? who doesn't; tactical advantage....

P.S. Why don't the Borg have shields as stated as early as 1995 in Voyager?? (as to my limited knowledge)  I know the Scout cubes have a 'form' of shields but ya, wooopedie dooo!!!
