If you could be the captain of anyship, belonging to any race in star trek at any time...

which ship and why?

Ill start off....

I think id want to command a nova, cool little exploratory ship, probably wouldnt get into to much combat, but it would be fun to go out there and explor a bunch of stuff.

Galaxy Class, either a Venture refit or whatever they're building in the 25th century.

If allowing fan-fic, kitbashes, etc, I would say the Highlander class.  Love that design.

If sticking to canon.  Voyager.  My first command would be to tell 7 of 9 to report to my ready room and get ready for First Contact.

Any Breen ship would do nicely, though my preference is the Breen Warships from the Borg missions of A1

Ya know after thinking about it, i know i said nova, but i think a miranda mk2 would be pretty nice as well, tough ship

I want the Repulse.  Failing that, either a Vor'cha, or a Sovvie.  I want survivability while I look around for neat stuff!  (And if Klingonized, proceed to blow it up, instead of taking notes.)

Ultimately the D'deridex.  Though the Griffin and Norexan are very sleek and rad as well... 

Anyway, big D trumps, it's tough and such an iconic design.  If a dangerous hottie like sela who likes andriods commands one then it must be awesome and able kick ass!
