so I have a question, but first let me point something out. have you ever noticed that when ever the federation has a mass of ships you will almost awalys see four or five mirandas? many of which get destroyed may i mind you. but here is my question.

if the federation can field all of these miranda dose that mean thaey have a huge surpluss of them packed away in mothballs? or perhaps have a surpluss of the spare parts to make them?

I have reason to believe the federation may still be constructing the miranda, not only from the visable evadence. but also because there is likely to be a massive surplusss of parts from the constution refit.
if that is so, can we have a warp-in miranda with stats simular to that of the sabre?

omg are you crazy? no no no no, you aim to low my freind. it cant have stats of a saber, it should reflect the miranda 2, (in terms of its stasts, of course lower) and shouyld be roughyl around hte warp in excelsaior,  so lets say the warp in excelsior, is ( i cant remeber the values) 23 offense, 22 defense, miranda shiuld be 25 deffense, 19 offense

em what??? you would give the probably oldest vessel in the fleet such a high defense? 25? this would be more the the intrepid with 22. i wouldnt dream of give the miranda such good stats. have you seen the dominion war? every second vessel exploded was a miranda.
and 19 offensive is too high either (would be the same as the intrepid again).
when they add the miranda class it should be slightly stronger the the sabre. maybe 15 offense und 12 defense

Eh, it got refitted for the times.  Any way the two ships I dis like the most would be the excelcior (1 the 2 is awsome) and the miranda. however seeing how they already put the excelcior in the (old ship) warpin and made it look so cool, I think the miranda refit would be a pirfict fit.

yes see drone picked up on what im saying, they awalys die rather quickly. the FO team stated at one point that they may introduce a map object miranda, however i believe it would fill a rather empty nich in the SFC ability. you got the big ship as an option and a mid ship as an option, what a bout a destroyer?

good states would be like this
15 offence
8-10 defence
6 systems

its an old ship, but a ship starfleet must have a whole lot of

Hmmm, perhaps for a new avatar then? In place of the Saber perhaps...  :sweatdrop:

Nah, more of a Level 1 tech ship available to all avatars. It would really help everyone, except the enemy.

I forgot to say something: it wouldn't replace the Saber.

Well IMO the Nova should replace the Saber for one of the avatars and the Miranda mk1 should be a warpin with similar stats to the Saber. Also it would be nice because it would rank up fairly quickly making it free faster than all of the other ships

i dont think it could replace the sabre nor would star fleet build this ship, unless as i said they have a huge surpluss

why not just have the mk2 in game

I am assuming that you mean the Miranda Mk2 in game, and while this is off topic, the Miranda mk2 is in game build able from the dominion mixed tech yard. I will also assume you know this and assume that you want it build able from the regular yard. However Optec has stated that is will remain there, as a mixed tech ship. The reason being is, because they want it to be a mixed tech ship. If this is not what you are referring too please be a little more clear with your next post

i have no idea how to be clearer.

the miranda is an old ship starfleet has alot of. the miranda II cannot be a refit as it is much too large. there for it is a new design, built from scratch.

i propose the original miranda as a light warp in ship in the neighborhood of a sabre in terms of strength. however as it is unlikely that strafleet still builds them (unless thay have a surpluss of spare parts) that is be a light warpin ship. i feel i was rather clear, but mabye i was not.

okay, what about 17 offense, 23 defense

when ever you see them they die rather quickly, and although they may be bristeling with wepons i feel for the role a 12-15 is a bit generous

between 8 and 10 defence, but why argue, its not like the FO team will impliment this.

I was speaking to Ray about this comment.

You were very clear I am sorry I usually include a quote box if I am responding to someone. Personally I would love to see the Miranda Mk1 in game, I think it still plays a role in Starfleet at this point in "history."

They might implement it, they might not, but that amount seems fair for a ship of its age.
