No, I don't get the reference either, though it doesn't sound very positive. I'm sure there was no need for it either. He was just bringing it up for the sake of it.

So why don't you trolls just back off? You remember all the crap certain people put ewm90 through too? And now you're doing it to ray320... Ray's not the problem, the people who keep taking shots at him with no provocation are the problem.

I didn´t mean to be rude or something, actually i think ray has a few nice ideas, it´s just that sometimes he doesn´t know when to stop asking for the same things.

My comment earlier wasn´t meant in a negative way and i don´t like people ganging up on one just because they think different either.

So please don´t be mad at me ray, i support your enthusiasm, even though it´s out of control sometimes.  :sweatdrop:

I doubt the Borg would assimilate Jem'Hadar.  They're inefficient.  Dependant on an external nutrient/drug to survive, and genetically engineered to be loyal to the founders?  Better to just kill them.  Vorta would be worth it, and I don't know if they could or would assimilate Founders.  The liquid structure would make it hard for them to be integrated into the collective, which would render them irrelevant.

And from watching a few TNG episodes again recently, the scoutcubes would make the Dominion overconfident.  One of them was on the episode where Q hurled the Enterprise into Borg space.  No shields on that thing.  The moment they faced a Cube or a Sphere, both of which include shields in the show, their confidence would come crashing down hard.  (I realized that cube in the episode with Q was a Scoutcube because it was bigger than a Galaxy, but didn't completely dwarf it like the cube in Best of Both Worlds.)

I doubt the Jem'Hadar would require an external nutrient (White) to survive after assimilation. Afterall, no other race requires food or air after assimilation.

The Cube in the episode with Q was a real Cube I believe, because they list of the measurements of the Cube... and then in Best of Both Worlds they talk about how it is identical in dimensions to the other Cube and that they aren't certain whether it is the same Cube.

What if the Borg assimilate a cloning facility, endless supplies of drones (of course without loyalty to the founders or dependency on ketracel white).

On the other hand, the Borg couldn´t learn much by cloning mindless drones without any real experience to assimilate.

I also got the feeling, they would simply annihilate the founders, the other possibility is that they actually find a useful job for shapeshifting drones. (a rather scary thought, given the fact that the borg are never subtle, which would sometimes benefit them more than their fly-in-and-ask-them-to-surrender-tactics)
