well, at that time they were fighting in tandom, and on the same side, so in normal times, they would probally distance them selves, but in the war, they were fighting on the federations side. (actually I think it was the feds fighting on the klingons side, but you get what I mean
) At that point I would consider them the same faction. I bet the dominion would. I mean you count the breen nd jemhadar as dominion even though they are a seperate race.
Another thing. The feds have the vulcains, telerains, andoreans, and probally the bajorans and all sorts of other races with them, they are a verry shtonge faction wen fully united.
But like I said. Starfleet on its own would not have one the war, and could not be considered 50 in those stats.

most klingons have always thought of the feds as weak but after the dominion war i think that view may have changed somewhat the klingons took 1 hell of a battering in the war due to gowrons poor tactics and wastefull use of his forces now before the war they did distance themselves except for a few occasions where they helped each other but i think after the dominion war they would work more closely together or maybe not lol depends what happens now the romulans are all but gone

Agreed. I just consider them a same faction as the war starting, and the feds coming to the rescue of the klingons. At that point, it wouldn't matter in the eyes of the dominion, they would just consider them all enemies on the same side.

And the fact that they have almost an entire quadrent working for them, until the war started.
Indeed the bajorian system isnt much to brag about, but terratorial expansion leads to economic expansion which leads to miltary expansion, which inturn leads to technological advancement.
And as far as I can tell most of the dominions strength is concertrated in the vorta, who seem to effectively represent all the dominions non-slave industry and science, though apparently there where plans to showcase other major dominion members early on, it didnt turn out that way...

i think the dominion view everyone thats not part of the dominion as enemies or at least potential enemies

true, but the klingons and the feds were fighting togeather, not as separate factions. IMO they were at that time on the same team, and like you said would be after then as well.

i think its just events that brought them together think about it the dominion attacked the klingons first and the feds didnt get involved untill the dominion attacked ds9 and then the rommies got involved when garak blew up that senators ship which the dominion got blamed for lol

true, but this event is all it takes to unite the factions. So either way, They were united as one team fighting for really the same purpose.

my point being if the dominion had just concentrated on the klingons and not attacked ds9 the feds may not have got involved as at the time they were not exactly on friendly terms with the klingons

Hmm, well, I don't know the Dominion war time line as well As I should(I never got the chance to watch DS9) So Forgive me if I don't consider certain facts about the war. I most likely Have no Idea if I am missing something.
