wtf is this for starters?

why are the graphics so bad, i tried maxing them out but it didnt do anything, my system is not bad.

all the gameplay vids show much better visuals.

2nd where is shipyard im doing a mission called stranded in space on the demo so far not really impressed at all with the game, doesnt tell you where to go, no usefull tips and the graphics are s**t, it looks like something on the sega.

Yeah it's not really that great....although don't know why the graphics are like that, they were a lot smoother than that for me when I used to play....

Uhhm, it looks like you have half screen resolution on . It's on as default. I made the same mistake. I personally like STO (mainly because I wanna play something other than BC for space combat in 3D ), but if you don't like it, everyone has their own opinion.

Lol - All the people that say its bad, I hate you.

So yeah, I dont know whats wrong. The graphics (at least for me and most other people) are very good. And there are helping pointers in missions. You just need to look for them.

Oh and BTW people that dont like it, have you EVEN played the game? It's not rubbish. Ive been on it since beta  Now that was a time when it WAS bad. 

But I mist say, its quite good now.

I wouldn't say it's bad, and I think a lot of content has come out since I last played so I've been thinking about playing again...but honestly, I just couldn't justify spending £10 a month to play it

thats the main problem for me. whats the point of downloading it illegally if they just want money to play it anyway. they dont care about the file sharers

I wasn't there from Beta, but I've heard some horror stories about stability and balance. Of course, the Tribble server...  :ermm:

Also that game should be renamed. It is "Fire At Will Online", not "Star Trek Online". Star Trek isn't all about shooting and I would expect an online game to be more versatile and more focusing on exploration, diplomacy and trading and then should the fighting get its place. I think the waiting for Excalibur will be more worth it.

yeah that price tag is just over the top for this game, even world of war craft doesnt cost that much, so does anyone have a clue where im supposed to go? shipyard and speak to someone? nuke i know you play.

Acutally WoW DOES cost that much. But I enjoy STO, very different, altho they do need to add some more content, and more stuff for the klingons.

im not a wow player but im sure it only cost about 7.99 a month not 10 a month.

Same price for the install software, and $15 for the sub . Then there's the cost for the expansion packs... It's expensive.
