Yes, but if you removed all the time travel/parallel universe episodes then star trek would amount to about 5 episodes!!!!

Well truth be told that alternate fan made ending isnt any worse then the actual one if you are talking about a paradox. In the actual ending they stop Soren, but guess what, Picard will never go into the Nexus and get Kirk out! So again I still think him arresting Soren in ten forward would have been alot better then what we got.

Question... If time has no meaning and the nexus is just an illusion... what if what happened to Picard was what he wanted to happen because he never left the nexus... I mean how can you leave something like that... maybe the rest of the movies made after Generations is just Picards dreams of granduer and nothing really happened like that execpt no Enterprise D and crew. It would be sad to have that as an ending. Picard thought he saved the universe except he is still stuck in the nexus dreaming of the future. A better ending would be to have the Enterprise be struck by the rocket because it was landing near by. Then you would not need Kirk and Dr. S would be yelling @$#%@#. It would be great because Kirk would not be dead and you could bring back when ever you liked. Maybe during the Dominion war or in First Contact  :borg:.

Guinan went into the Nexus before, and when she left, it left an 'image' of her behind (which is one theory about where her sixth sense comes from). Picard very likely went through the same, except without the sixth sence because he left by choice.

Generations could have been amazing... but it definitely missed the mark as far as i'm concerned.

It is my least favorite, although insurrection is a close second... I didnt think it was terrible just that it seemed like a long episode of TNG. It lacked the big screen feel...
